Your adventure begins at the Solana Beach Train Station, where you and your Pedego electric bike board the train bound for Carlsbad Village. As the train hugs the coastline, sit back and enjoy breathtaking ocean views from your window.
Once you arrive in Carlsbad, the bike portion of your journey begins. From the Carlsbad Train Station, you’ll ride your e-bike south along a scenic 16-mile route back to Solana Beach. Along the way, explore white sand beaches, panoramic coastal vistas, meditation gardens, and spots rich with local history. You’ll also find plenty of great restaurants to stop for lunch.
This self-guided tour uses a smartphone app to lead the way. The app includes up to 14 recommended stops, a live map, and narration triggered by GPS as you ride. Just bring your earbuds or headphones for the best audio experience.
Every rental bike comes equipped with a handlebar phone mount and a USB charging port to keep your phone powered during your ride—just bring your charging cord.
